Customer relationship manager printing house: Hold on, let me check. Ok, we have received all your materials, but unfortunately we could not find a translator who could translate from Japanese to Russian, so we had to use an online translator.
Could you please ask someone to check the quality of the translation because I don't know what this all means.

Yes online translation often causes misinterpretations.... In our company we always use real interpretors. It is more expensive but you can't afford these mistakes, they will devastate your company!

This is not about the online translator but about language in general.
I am often quite amazed by the fact that sometimes only a few persons in a Russian company speak foreign languages!
As being Dutch I am used to speak different languages a lot.
We already get English lessons in the end of our primary school period. These lessons are to be continued in our secondary school period. And most of the time foreign languages are increased with German and French during this period.
This leads to the situation that most Dutch people speak two or three foreign languages as well.
Maybe this can also be derived from the fact that we live in a very small country and from the start in early history we already depend a lot on trade with other nations. And doing a lot of inter-cultural trade is easier when you talk foreign languages....
